tmr is kanji and listening test. exams are creeping up from behind me.

my exam timetable
31st May - Listening and Kanji Test
1st June - Japanese Final Examination
14th June - Biology Theory
15th June - Biology Practical
22nd June - Chemistry Theory

the good thing about the theory tests are that they are all MCQ. so the pressure is off to write whole and succinct sentences. ahah. i'm lazy. unfortunately for the japanese and the biol prac i have to write. and for japanese, in a different language.

i need to go winter clothes shopping. all my outfits are fitted for summer/autumn. no good warm clothes that don't make me look like the michellin man. i need boots like these



and i've been looking into bags for uni. found two, though i haven't got a picture of them here. will get them up once my brain is off exams for a bit.

fiona wants me to join her on her bday to learn how to pole dance. -.- will be looking forward to that...

i can die in fangirl adoration...

in uni's campus right now. just finished presenting my japanese roleplay skit. -SO JING ZHANG (you know how your fingers get reallyreally cold when you're nervous? i had frigid fingers) RARGG. good thing it's over and done with. i think i stuffed up on some of my lines but i can't remember a thing. all was just a blur seriously. can't remember a thing. now it's 11.30am, my next class is at 2.30pm. 3 hours. long wait. oh well.

what to do..

yay! my contacts are coming in tmr! three weeks straight with glasses isn't good (esp in labs. CHEM labs esp. gah. have to cram safety glasses on top of glasses. that's no good man. =\) anyway, i'm starting a regime to sleep early. then i can benefit from better concentrations, and more importantly, NO MORE PANDAEYE(BAGS). i'll be performing my roleplay tmr. hope all goes well, fingers crossed~!

today just standing outside the unibar at 12 o'clock and i bump into almost one person from instituitions i have been to in aus. i spotted, pat, guyfromdls(forgot his name), laura, annik, shin. see, olmc, dls and uow all covered. ahah! they had some fair going on today. although i would have LOVED to buy something, nope. got my money issues to bother. ARGH. i hate the feeling the pinch. oh well.

off to make a cuppa then off to bed! at 11pm! that's so much of an improvement from 2am. littlesteps, littlesteps =)

my mom just reminded me of something that i totally have no idea. apparently she and mom shirley had been planning this the last time they came round. the situation; on my 21st, mom shirley proposed that we (don't know if this means the family, or just the girls in the family, but i would like to have a bit of family time for this. maybe even invite some friends along. i'll explain. keep reading) meet up somewhere halfway between singapore and sydney for my birthday celebration. and mom shirley actually reminded my mother the other day on the phone and said that she literally got a measuring tape and drew a straight line from singpore to sydney and divided the line in half. guess where it landed?

as the birthday girl i obviously have a choice right? they said bali. ? hmm...i don't know man. 21 feels so far. (i know i'm so gonna regret saying this when the time does come.) then my mom wasn't up for bali, she said she'll like the shopping but with the bali bombings (she's still muchly affected) and her not being a beach person, she didn't want that. she did suggest shanghai though. get to see yeye chris and go SHOPPING. =D かいものがだいすきですよ！

and also. they said they told me about this during the time dad alvin, mom shirley jo and grace were over; I SERIOUSLY DON'T REMEMBER A THING. how is that possible? hmm...

i'm selling a brand new with tag pastel washed-out pink Converses! i bought them but then i realised that i didn't need another hi-top Con; already have a forest green one (fakies, HOHO). so i'll be posting them up on eBay or if you would like, just contact me and i'll give details. i'm a size 4.5 on those Cons (sorry to those bigger footed ones. =)).

man i so embarassed myself in jap class today. firstly, Go found that i could speak chinese (veryveryvery baaaddd...) he tried asking me in chinese what music i like, and the first thing i uttered was "5566", STAB ME. ahahah! he was reeling in pain (he hates them, i don't particularly like them but hey, i do have one song with them in it!) then i tried saying i like takizawa hideaki, but i mixed his name up. =| 'long zhe xiu ming' became 'jing tian xiu ming' who the hell was i thinking of?? soo embarasseddd.... and then, emma-sensei came into class and asked the rudimentary 'genki desu ka?' everyone was muttered 'hai genki desu' and i had to say 'iie...'. well it was true (i slept at 3.30am after clearing up my room and i was dozing off in the car), so she was like, 'justina-san, genki desu ka?' then i went 'genki jaa nai..nemui desu yo'. i had a large capuccino to keep me awake. =.=Zzz...

anyone wanna join me for some form of exercise during the holidays? preferably on a regular basis. i wanna see what classes are on at fitness first or fernwood. prob compare the pair.

seems so long ago.

i no longer feel the need to return to sg. well, i still love everyone over there, but there's no more desire. like you know, when there's a time to cherish everything, you take all you can. then you're broken apart, there's the longing after the presence of something, to fill that void. then you discover that life's more than pining after something you know that in life, comes once and never again. i know that when i return, you'll find me changed. and likewise me towards all of you. but like photographs, you will all stay with me.

the laughter, the sleepovers, the meetings in orchard, movie marathon nights, youth conference, the tears, the pain, piano playing till the wee hours of the night, spaghetti for lunch (with sliced chesse which i will never try), rushing for the bus to get to church, practising moves for youth choir, missing our stop on the train, catching taxis and losing half the contingency on the way, watching the sunrise on new year's day, the promises (made and broken and unfulfilled and fulfilled), the neoprints, buying secret bday cakes for each other, chance meetings in town (frequent whackings), singing ourselves to sleep in camp, forgetting our toothbrushes for sleepovers, giggle sessions, bowling in cineleisure orchard, taking the back-drain-way to get to bangau, cleaning out bangau, and loads of other stuff which i will type up another day.

i feel suspended between two places. like. how am i gonna plan my wedding next time? how abt my friends in two different continents? i think i must marry a reeally rich dude to get that fulfilled. hmm...

i think i just read my first part-time work ad in japanese. Japan City just opened in Miranda, and i was checking the shop out. i got this photo of this japanese figurines i wanna get for my parent's anniversary.


then spotting this poster on the window of the store just as i was walking out, i decided to test my japanese and read it. hmm, i picked up, congrats! it's the opening of Japan City in Miranda. something abt english-speaking, student(? i think). so i was wondering it was an ad. so i asked, and the lady did tell me she was taking in resumes to consider. but she said it was up to the head office to decide.

I'M FINALLY RID OF ANY INSECTS. YIEW! imagine, at 2am this morning pinning the last few insects that i caught just maybe half-a-day ago from then, and then the insect starting to move O.O (eeekkk!!). i thought it was me seeing things. never matter, i put it to sleep with a little acetone nail polish remover. hopefully that drone fly doesn't start buzzing in the train. gah. I HATE INSECTS. NEVEREVERNEVEREVER AGAIN.
