i'm loving the holidays and everything but i hate doing things by myself. likeforexample; i can't go to the beach by myself! i'll look like a silly duck just sunbathing by myself right? anyways. i might just go and apply for that jb hi-fi chrissie casual work placement. might. if i do find the time to, and i also gotta call lyekuen to start piano again. sucks when you have no money to spend and no friends to go out with. DAMN SCHOOLIES AND ALL END OF YEAR 12 ACTIVITIES.

officially holidays for me. and i'm at home in my wear-so-many-times-to-count guide tee and i-don't-ever-want-to-wear-outside-the-house ugly green shorts. sigh. makes you just wonder what you wanna do with your life you know?

the formal was alright. so-so. a bit of a bore at times when the dj started playing CRAPCRAPCRAP music. gah./ even my mom commented on the ghastly choice of music played. thankfully the afterparty made up for it. happened at the vault hotel, had to share the venue with st ursula's; we took the basement and they took the upper floor. couldn't get much liquid; not enough money! scabbed for what i could from others mainly. mm, need to get my formal dress altered. i actually spent the night with a safety pin jabbing into my side. ahah! the girls here in aussie have bigger boobs than asians. o_o yep.

met Aoi yest. brought her round to UNSW to get her accomodation info. then we brought her around the area, saw bondi, maroubra, cronulla, had lunch at westfield eastgardens, and dinner at hurstville.

i need to go out! but i lack sooo much to even consider.
1) i spent almost all my savings on the formal.
2) i'm trying to save up and plan a trip to singapore in the near future.
3) i just got a new second job. hopefully this can help with point one and two.
4) danni and olympia have both invited me to their parties. minus moolah again!
5) chrissie is just round the corner! more minus moolah/.
6) why does the world have to revolve around money?
7) i'm beginning to lose faith in the fact that my church friends are ever gonna come to sydney to visit. and anyway, how am i gonna put them up!

tammy's been invading my personal space for a week now, gonna carry on for another week next week when my aunt comes over from sg with her two sons and mom-in-law. not that i don't mind her or anything. but i'm starting to really hate it when my room looks like a cramped disater zone. and she's been using my clothes! yet another reason not to go out.

on a good note, i'm starting to lose weight. from what i dunno. hopefully i'll stay within that 50-52 range. i need to hit the gym though. more spending... sigh.

hmm, going out to lunch with mom. ciao.

i shouldn't have woken up so early. hmm, oh well. i gotta go to work in a few minutes time. but here's the run down.

last night. we had the formal! year 12 affair and all. managed to get my outfit all together.

that's the hair and makeup. true, i believe the makeup was a little too heavy and the hairstyle i undid halfway through the night. i didn't like the pins in my hair all the time.

all these dresses i'm planning to pair with some pair of wedge heels of sorts. and the hair maybe a messy side braid or just loose curls/waves.

I11-ONE-11 dress, mid-calve length, princess-style cut(bodice and a fullskirt), front view.
can't see it but the back of this dress has a ribbon. the ribbon gathers the back of the bodice together. the hem of the skirt is left raw, not sewn up, so it's frayed a little.

cream gold dress by TOKITO. as you can see, tammy tried it but she didn't like it so i took it. suited me i think. ahahah. she preferred that black and white tube dress, full skirt.
last one. this is a light-green shift dress by MISS SHOP. didn't really take to it. too plain plus the straps reminded me of a rag rug. o_o. if i hadn't posed like that, you'd be seeing my ugly arms and tummy. RAH.
this is a vague reference to that last dress that i found. black bubble dress like this, just that it's got straps and it's an empire cut. by LADAKH.

been trying these few days to try and get a dress for the formal; along with studying, getting the shoes, getting the hair and makeup settled, and preparing the house for a church meeting on sunday (12th) night at our house.

tried redoing the living room a little, been haggling my mom and dad to try and get all the boxes stored in the garage and not clutter up the place. brought up some stowaway ornaments that were just collecting dust in the garage, managed to find a place for them in the house. =)

here's some pics of the dresses i may buy. note that while i tried getting the real pictures, for some i couldn't. copyright infringements, the works.
i found firstly a black bubble dress, Ladakh. then a I11-ONE-11 green girly dress. and a cream gold, empire cut, wide-strapped dress. ok i can't get the dresses. too late for my mind to function. =P
