i had my microbio test today. i would say i could have done better and that it was stupid mistakes that cost me. ahah loved the elevator conversation with my fellow microbio classmates as we were heading from mathews to biosci building after the test.

"so i put it as the Ninja form and the E-somethingsomething form for that chlamydia question"

- peter in reference to the question 'describe the two forms of chlamydia and describe its lifecycle' something similar to that. and i can't believe i mixed up staphylococcus aureus and chlamydia, in regards to its gram stains. GAH. so basic. and i stuffed it up. then there were the yeast questions that i seriously couldn't be bothered with. -.- tralalaa over and done with...

so after that we had a lab. and my cellulose degraders grew!

it's a gram positive rod. and we started doing cabbage preservation. long story. anywayy, went to the city to meet up with eunice to have lunch. i totally forgot that place. but it's that cafe in TGV which does singaporean food. i had a bowl of assam laksa and eunice had chicken rice. assam laksa was alright, way too much on the sardines though...

we later walked around the city, went to see xixi at her workplace ^^ and check out various cafes. went to cupcakes on pitt where we got these cute little things.

pity though that it's only eye candy, the muffins itself wasn't that tasty, and the cream was just too much.

walking along george st i happened to see nami and tomoaki! was contemplating on whether to call them but in the end i sent them a message while sampling some tiramisu at 85°C cake store. met up with them at chinatown and we took a lazy walk around paddy's. brought them up to capitol for a bit; tomoaki remarked,

"is this like japan city?"

in reference to capitol's second level of purikura machines and those toy machine grabbers. XD walked down georgest toward townhall and just chatted along the way. we said our goodbyes at TGV since i wanted to get home for dinner.

funny the train today wasn't packed at all! weird... and i caught it at peak hour too, like 4-5pmish
