ok, here's what's been happening over the past few days.
i had a sleepover/movie night on the 20th and i'm still waiting on danni to send me pictures. that night just happened to be wet and rainy and dreary. not good to start, but at least the party went smoothly still. =) chloe could come early! she didn't have work that night so she came earlier. yay! imagine my surprise when two badly dressed santas came bounding through my door, jacqui and danni had teamed up to do a santa dress up! love them, and they even got a sumo santa fight going. anyway, we played a game of scattergories. it's like this group game where you try to come up with as many words as you can of a few different catagories with the same first letter in a stipulated amt of time. fun game! then we went on the the right-left gift exchange and that didn't go really well cos all it did was made each person's gift end up on the person to your left. so that didn't work out well. we did play a few rounds of Scene It? but we cut it short cos everyone wanted food! =P movies then after. started with the 40-Year-Old Virgin. so-so, not particularly my favourite. ahh. at this point in time i called the pizza guy and pizza came in the middle of the movie. we then went on to Battle Royale! my favourite. but then again, i've seen it before. not many ppl loved it though, like elisa, sally and chloe. hehe. they hate blood and gore. which is what battle royale is all about. love cheesy Japanese horror flicks. ellen left about here. we started a bit of The Muppets, A Christmas Carol but it didn't receive rave reviews, ended up cutting it short and playing pictionary charades. some ppl left around here, steph and sally headed off in the direction of cronulla and olympia's mom came to fetch her. and after that, we had Love Actually! perfect for the Christmas mood. i didn't see it in its entirety, went off and had my shower whilst everyone was watching it. coffee and tea was made sometime during the course of the movie. after love actually, we started on Edward Scissorhands, which i didn't really pay attention to, cos i was drifting in and out of sleep. after that i think they put on Teaching Mrs Tingle, which i didn't watch at all, though i saw flickers of certain scenes here and there, and i think they put on Sin City too. but hey, at least i woke up later at around 4-5-ish and we had another round of coffee and tea. we put on 10 Things I Hate About You and i totally loved Heath Ledger in it! danni and jacqui left around then cos they had to leave at around 7-8am. all that was left was me, tammy, elisa, chloe and sarah. we watched The Eye, average scare-fest. not really scary la. i would love to catch The Eye 2. shu qi and a baby in a lift. woo... sarah and elisa left together at around 9-ish. and we watched The Eye, us three sisters, and chloe slept on till about 2pm-ish.
i went to work on friday and on saturday. friday night i spent in miranda fair. accompanied fiona on her work break! poor girl had to work till 12 midnight! i would seriously contemplate a resignment if money wasn't an issue. saturday, i worked the whole night through. sunday was church, christmas service.
monday was christmas morning! opened presents and all, got in total, two pairs of shoes (a pair of casual chic wedges and sensible flats), disney trivial pursuit, and miscellanous.
tuesday today, we went off to westfield eastgardens to watch HAppy Feet! omg, i'm in love with Mumbles the kid! then we just had a popiah dinner with friends and family.
