i want to sue sydney airport and complain about its inefficiency. (i sound like some ah soh. typical singaporean complain complain attitude) ahahaha! but seriously.

my auntie and granny arrived back in sydney on monday morning. the night before, me and my mom looked up the computer to see what time their flight was coming in. it said 5.05-5.10am. alright then. one thing we knew was the daylight-robbery charges that the airport carpark imposes; more than $6p/h. too much for us penny pinchers. so we decided to wait at the nearby mercure hotel carpark. knowing that the trip to the airport was gonna take approx 45 minutes we woke up at 4.30am. hard to get up at that time you know. and it was all pitch black. the house i meant. so got up changed; i tossed on my levis and dorothy perkins tee. i though it was gonna be warm later in the day. i called up the phone quantas arrival hotline and found that now the plane was gonna arrive at 6.05am. oh well, more time for brekkie. so we left at around 5 instead. got to the place we called the phone hotline again. was still 6.05am. it was 5.45 by then. we could wait. so there we waited. wind was blowing and a sheer misty drizzle descended. could see it was gonna be a dreary day ahead. turned on the radio and was listening to the kyle and jackie o show which started at 6am. waited and waited. then i decided, why not sms auntie so that she'll call us once she had reached sydney. alrightey. that was around 6.10 already. so we waited somemore. she called eventually at around 6.20; was in duty-free purchasing perfumes and the likes. so alright we gave her orders; i got my gucci II! so later on (we thought it was gonna be another 10 minutes or so before they got out) we were just stretching out in the car and waiting and waiting. mummy even caught some shuteye. wondering why she was taking so long to come out, i decided to call her. she was caught in the customs queue to get her passport checked and all; a good half-hour she said. oh alright, it was 6.40. so we waited till about 7.15, we received another msg from auntie; airport just messed up our baggage claims, will be another hour. damn the sydney airport!! daddy called at around 8am to check where we were and all, we were still in the same old carpark lot for about 2hours and a bit now. finally we got their call saying that they were now heading for the pickupspot. it was 8.45. am. stupid sydney airport. SO INEFFICIENT!!!

well i'm glad it's over. hope i never have to experience that again. auntie told me that the plane was actually making rounds in the sydney airspace; didn't allow the planes to land. strange eh? she said that the plane had reached sydney at the planned time of 5.15 thereabouts. the airport just delayed the landing. weird.

i'm hating myself for not motivating myself to really study.
