ok, i've got one week to the formal and i haven't gotten my shoes!! *panic* and the only thing that seperates me from that pair of shoes i saw in the shoe shop is money. this are the times when you wished that you were born into a more privillaged home. oh well, but i'm happy just the way i am =). the knowledge of God and His ever providing hand makes up for all the shortcomings.
anyhooos, it's 16 days till i'm home. =)
let's see, i've got pressies for almost everyone. spent a BOMB on mailorders. wahaha! not personally hand-chosen. =P oh well, it's like mass production just without the 'the real slim shady' deal. i promise that everyone has a handmade craft from me. =) i learnt alot from being around an art class for a year.
i need to get wings and a wand and a tiara [optional] for olympia's fairy party. and my mom thinks it's a waste of money. bah. maybe i shall just use the wings i had made. hmm... yeah, and spray paint it with silver. =D. ok.
ok and i finally resolved all those thingoes with the accounts with gogo. she's gonna resume allowance for all three of us providing we submit a detailed account of what we take out of the account. yeps.
you know, i've just realised that being in australia since the beginning of this year has taught me alot of things. things like,
* money is hard to come by [with my dad's very ambitious venture into the fish business, my dabbling in part time work, the accounts with gogo and having to conciously remember to save in regards to the utilities in the home]
* hard work pays off [i get allowances if i produce a monthly report, i get paid for part time work]
* and finally staying faithful is a real tough job [i falter alot along the way, and i still am.]
