Restore The Joy
["Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You."] Psalms 51:10-13

Once I had everything,
All the joy, life could bring.
Each day I lived, I yearned to talk to You,
Live in You, love in You.

My faith was firm and strong,
Learning right, fearing wrong.
But now love's not the way it used to be;
